I was able to get my school stuff sorted out, but only because my biology professor stepped in and got the ball rolling. I gave up on my Communications class because the teacher isn't...very great specifying certain aspects. I wouldn't mind taking that class again in the future, but with a different instructor.

I think I might not hire an editor for one of my complete serials, actually. Partly because I'm tight on money, but also because I've gotten better at editing and know what to leave on the cutting room floor now.

Well...I got dropped from my classes. But at least I only owe 1800 dollars now! Ugh...

Eh, decided to go ahead and release the new short now, rather than later. It'll take a few days to go live on some channels, anyway. But I'll take my time with my next one. I've got it all plotted out, but it's def gonna be longer than 2k, and will be priced accordingly. Like $2.99 or more.

Hm, managed to turn today around, by doing promos in other groups. I also left one because I never see updates from them anymore.

I really hate the trend of saving paid promos for the evenings, and dumping the garbage freebies in the morning slot. Cause I don't get good reads that way, and I miss out on the goodies cause I don't check FB after 2. This also means there's one less person for the better promos, and I've seen people all caught up on other Vellas.

I've been fiddling with my Ream account forever, but hopefully I'll launch it soon! I'm thinking about posting the condensed chapters for the Last Train Home book, rather than doing 60+ smaller ones like on Vella.

I'll queue up these chapters, but stagger season 3's by a month or so. That way people have time to catch up. I may add a higher tier for people who want the latest updates lmao.

I'm not getting much out of these Vella promos anymore...too many people are just reading the freebies, but not much else. Oh well. My numbers are still higher than they've been in the past, so I'm not too worried.

Oh thank goodness! I thought I was behind on my main serials, but I actually have an episode queued up! It's my second longest serial I need to worry about, but that episode is finished. I just need to edit it.

Had a great writing day! Over 1600 words for two different projects. Right now I need to draft chapters for my web serials, just to stay on top of my posting schedule.

Was waiting on a call from my aunt (I texted earlier and she said she had company over), but it's been over an hour now...I was hoping to call now before running some errands but oof...I don't want a surprise call on the go!

I've been up for 6 hours, but I haven't done anything truly fun. Mostly queuing posts on my blog for this month and the next, household chores, etc. I need to write a chapter or two for my Vellas (due Friday and Saturday). Ideally, draft more and more to tide me over as I start this new job.

Also pleasantly surprised to see that someone bought half of my backlog yesterday! Very nice feeling indeed.

Still a little annoyed that I got a random one star rating on a book (going to assume it was a troll and leave it at that), but on an unrelated bright side...Amazon fixed the price on another book. After it had two sales two days in a row lmao

I woke up this morning with the intent to draft a chapter for my cyberpunk noir. Other than transferring notes to my computer, I've done nothing.

All caught up on season 1! These short episodes make it feel like a breeze lmao. Even though the whole show is over 17 hours long!

It's funny that InCo had its final episode a few days ago, when I started listening to it the week before. I know I started it a few years ago, when it had far less episodes. If I'd stayed with it, I would've been there to listen to the final episode the same day it came out.

As it stands, I don't know when I'll finish. Ideally before summer. I do like to binge series when possible, though I plan on taking short breaks between seasons to catch up on other shows.

Just finished my first playthrough of Disco Elysium. I'm so glad to have found it.

I need to catch up on writing today, but my brain's a little frazzled. I have some notes from last that should help, at least. I'm really close to finishing my cyberpunk WIP! Just...gotta make the words go lmao.

Funnily enough, I might have better luck relocating to my bedroom, away from my computer until I get it done. I actually do a lot of my writing on my phone, with the help of an external keyboard. Might be for the best unfortunately...I'm usually off my computer by this time anyway.

I'm going to play around with this more later. So far I'm loving the experience as a whole. Well. I still gotta tinker with the site on my computer and see how the blog looks on a screen that isn't the size of my hand.
